Israel has temporarily closed all its diplomatic missions worldwide as its military operation in Iran intensifies, the Foreign Ministry announced in a statement on Friday.
As a result, consular services will not be available to Israeli citizens currently abroad. The ministry urged Israelis overseas to complete an online form updating their location and current situation. Those in urgent need of assistance are advised to contact the ministry’s situation room directly.
The statement also cautioned Israeli nationals abroad to avoid displaying national symbols, sharing identifiable information or travel plans on social media, and attending large-scale events associated with Israel.

Earlier on Friday, Israel launched a large-scale offensive targeting dozens of military sites in Iran, including nuclear facilities. According to Iranian media, the strikes killed several high-ranking Iranian military commanders, including Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and Hossein Salami, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, IRGC.
In response, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, vowed retaliation, warning that Israel had prepared a “bitter fate” for itself.
