Twelve persons in a bus reportedly lost their lives in an auto crash on Gusau-Funtua road on Wednesday.
A tragic auto crash on the Gusau-Funtua road resulted in the loss of twelve lives.
The accident involved an 18-seater bus owned by the Zamfara State Mass Transport Company and a truck. At the time of the accident, the bus was carrying 25 passengers.
Danladi explained that the other 13 passengers sustained injuries and were all admitted at the General Hospital, Tsafe in Zamfara.
The sector commandant blamed the crash on over-speeding and wrongful overtaking leading to a head-on collision.
He further warned drivers against over-speeding, wrongful overtaking and overloading, among other traffic offences.
