A hospital in the Southern Gaza Strip has reported at least 70 people dead following an Israeli airstrike that occurred approximately 1 kilometer away from the medical facility.
Doctors Without Borders stated that dozens of patients, including children and adolescents, suffered severe burns and were treated at the Nasser Medical Complex. The strike took place in Khan Younis, and a total of 122 patients arrived at the hospital immediately after the incident.
The hospital is reportedly overflowing, and the Israeli army has not yet commented on the reports. Israel has been urging Palestinian civilians to move from the contested north to the south for their safety, with the Defence Minister announcing that attacks in Gaza would extend southward.
