Mayorkun, the sensational afrobeat singer, has revealed that Cross Rivers state governor, Bassey Otu, has promised to compensate him for his stolen expensive jewelry that went missing while he was performing in Calabar, the state’s capital.
According to The Nation, Mayorkun vowed never to return to the state after his jewelry went missing during a concert there.

Mayokun captioned a photo of himself performing at the concert, “CALABAR, You’ll probably never see me again, but good luck to the other artists who are coming to your festivals. Nightmare would be a better word! I just want to get out of this dream, bro.”
