In a forecast that has captured national attention, historian Allan Lichtman, renowned for his remarkable accuracy in predicting presidential elections, has declared that Vice President Kamala Harris will emerge victorious in the upcoming US presidential election.

Lichtman, who has successfully predicted the outcomes of nine out of the last ten presidential races, made his announcement in a recent video released on Thursday.

Using his unique analytical framework known as the “Keys to the White House,” Lichtman believes Harris has secured eight of the necessary keys, positioning her as the frontrunner against former President Donald Trump.

This method, developed in collaboration with mathematician Vladimir Keilis-Borok, evaluates various political factors to assess the likelihood of an incumbent party’s success. According to Lichtman, only six of the thirteen keys need to be negative for an incumbent party to be predicted to lose.

Lichtman emphasized that his predictions are grounded in historical patterns rather than transient political strategies or polling data, which he views as unreliable snapshots of public sentiment. He stated, “The keys tap into the structure of how elections really work, as votes up or down on the strength of performance of the White House party.”

With just 60 days until the election, Lichtman’s prediction adds a new layer of intrigue to a race that is already heating up, especially as both candidates intensify their campaigns in key battleground states.
