The Federal Government has committed to collaborating with the International Civil Aviation Organization, ICAO, and other stakeholders to enhance safety and efficiency in Nigeria’s aviation sector.
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, announced this on Wednesday during the ICAO’s inaugural symposium on Advanced Air Mobility, AAM 2024, in Montréal, Canada.
In a statement released by Mr. Tunde Moshood, Special Assistant on Media and Communications to the Minister, Keyamo emphasized the government’s dedication to working with global partners to integrate sustainable and efficient technologies into the nation’s aviation system.
The symposium, titled “Advanced Air Mobility, AAM, Global Harmonisation and Interoperability: Challenges and Opportunities,” offers various networking and bilateral engagement opportunities, particularly in the rapidly evolving AAM sector.
