Air Peace has introduced the Opay Payment Service on its Internet Booking Engine, IBE, offering passengers additional payment flexibility for their bookings.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the airline’s Head of Corporate Communications, Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, announced the integration, highlighting the move as part of Air Peace’s ongoing efforts to enhance the customer experience by providing secure, convenient payment options.
The new payment system will enable customers to make payments through various channels, including Bank Cards, Opay Wallet, Bank Transfers, and Bank USSD, all integrated within the IBE platform.
“By collaborating with Opay, Air Peace continues its mission to provide an excellent and seamless booking experience,” Ndiulo said. “This new integration brings more flexibility and security for our customers, ensuring that they can complete transactions quickly and easily.”

He further noted that this addition follows other initiatives aimed at improving the travel experience, such as the launch of Pay-Small-Small with ‘Kalabash’ in October 2022, which allows passengers to make incremental payments on their tickets. Kalabash Pay-Small-Small, PSS, is a flexible travel payment plan that allows customers lock down great travel deals by making as little as 10% down payment of the total travel cost and paying the rest in convenient installments. PSS allows you to save as much as 150% by taking advantage of the ‘early bird’ fares, and spread your payment over a convenient period of time.
Additionally, Air Peace rolled out a travel insurance option in partnership with AIICO Insurance to provide customers with added peace of mind while traveling.
The partnership with Opay is a reflection of Air Peace’s commitment to offering enhanced customer service and ensuring smooth, secure, and convenient travel for its passengers.
