The traditional ruler of Omupo community in Kwara State, Oba Muhammed-Yakubu Adebayo Buari has hailed Hon. Ismail  Kayode Tijani for donated solar street lights to the community.

Hon. Tijani, a  member of the House of Representatives representing Ifelodun/Oyun/Offa, donate 10 complete sets of solar lights to the Omupo community recently.

This initiative underscores his commitment to improving the quality of life for his constituents.

During the formal presentation of the solar lights, Hon. Tijani reassured the community that additional sets would be delivered in the near future, further emphasizing his dedication to meeting their needs.

The solar lights are currently being installed in various strategic locations throughout the town.

These sites have been carefully chosen to maximize the impact on visibility and accessibility during nighttime.

This project aligns with ongoing efforts to enhance security in Omupo, as better lighting is expected to deter criminal activities and create a safer environment for residents.

Oba Adebayo Buari also extended heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Tijani, acknowledging his continuous support for the development of Omupo.

The monarch highlighted how this gesture is yet another example of the representative’s thoughtful allocation of his 2024 constituency projects.

Hon. Tijani’s contributions to Omupo have been consistent over the years.

Notably, in 2022 he spearheaded the construction of a public toilet facility to address the community’s need for sustainable sanitation and hygiene.

Dr. Monisoye Afolabi, the National President of the Omupo Development Union also commended Hon. Tijani for his relentless efforts to bring meaningful development to Omupo.

Despite overseeing a large and diverse constituency, the representative has maintained his focus on delivering the dividends of democracy to the people.
