In a bid to support education, the lawmaker representing Badagry Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Setonji David, has provided free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, forms to 450 students in Badagry, Lagos State.

At the event on Wednesday, the Director General of Setonji David Campaign Organisation, SEDACO, Akin Ogunlana, represented the lawmaker and presented the UTME slips to deserving students.

Encouraging the beneficiaries, David, who serves as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House, urged them to take their academic journey seriously, study harder, and aim for high scores. He assured them of his continued support in securing admission into tertiary institutions in 2025.

“This initiative is a reflection of my commitment to education and the future of my constituents. I will do everything within my power to ensure you gain admission this year,” he said.

The Chairman of the Setonji David Education Committee, Moses Opa, reaffirmed the lawmaker’s dedication to making education more accessible. He congratulated the beneficiaries and encouraged them to put in their best effort to excel in the examination.

Expressing gratitude on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mauyon Kentokonu promised that the students would make the lawmaker proud. Another recipient, Aanu Gbolahan, thanked David for the opportunity, pledging to work hard and succeed in the UTME.
