The Minister of Power, Mr. Adebayo Adelabu, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Mrs. Abisola Kola-Daisi, the first daughter of the late Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor of Oyo State.
In a statement issued in Abuja by his Special Adviser on Strategic Communications and Media Relations, Bolaji Tunji, the minister described the news as a great shock. He extended his heartfelt condolences to Abisola’s husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, her mother, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, and the entire Kola-Daisi and Ajimobi families.
Adelabu paid tribute to Abisola, describing her as a remarkable woman who embodied grace, kindness, and strength. He highlighted her role as a devoted mother, a caring family member, and a compassionate individual who positively impacted those around her.

He acknowledged the deep pain the family must be experiencing, especially as the loss comes just a few years after the passing of her father, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi. He expressed sympathy for her mother, siblings, husband, and young children, noting that the grief must be unimaginable.
Reflecting on Abisola’s legacy, the minister reassured the family that her impact would not be forgotten. He emphasized that the legacy of Sen. Ajimobi lives on through his children and that Abisola’s kindness and love would be remembered.
He offered prayers for the family’s strength and fortitude during this difficult time. He also prayed for Abisola’s children, expressing hope that they would grow up to embody the virtues of integrity, compassion, and excellence passed down from their mother and grandfather.
