President Bola Tinubu will celebrate his 73rd birthday on Saturday with a special prayer session at the National Mosque in Abuja today.
The prayer is aimed at seeking divine blessings for the nation, with the president also taking the opportunity to express his gratitude for God’s guidance throughout his leadership.
This was disclosed by Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, in a statement on Thursday.
The statement, titled ‘President Tinubu To Mark 73rd Birthday with Special Prayer at the Abuja National Mosque,’ outlined that the President will reflect on the nation’s progress while seeking continued divine assistance in the nation’s affairs.
Coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, President Tinubu’s birthday is a moment of both personal and spiritual reflection.
The prayer session also comes just two months before the second anniversary of his administration.
“The President will dedicate this day to spiritual reflection, seeking God’s guidance for Nigeria’s peace, prosperity, and continued development,” Onanuga said. “The special prayer session underscores the President’s commitment to the spiritual well-being of the nation, emphasizing the importance of collective prayer as a means of ensuring national progress and unity.”

In his message, President Tinubu invited Nigerians to join in spirit by praying for the country’s continued success and unity, whether in mosques, churches, or at home.
