Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed he will remain at Al-Nassr following Portugal’s UEFA Nations League triumph on Sunday night, and he has also taken on a new role.
The 40-year-old forward, who scored in the 2-2 draw against Spain before Portugal won on penalties, dismissed speculation about a possible transfer putting an end to retirement rumors.

“My future? Basically, nothing is going to change. Staying at Al-Nassr? Yeah,” Ronaldo told reporters after the match in Munich.
Despite an impressive record of 74 goals and 16 assists in 77 Saudi Pro League matches, Ronaldo has yet to win a league title with Al-Nassr. He was substituted late in Sunday’s final due to an injury concern.
In a major development announced on Friday, Ronaldo has also been appointed Global Ambassador for the Esports World Cup 2025, which will hold in Riyadh.
