Renowned Nigerian reggae gospel singer and songwriter, Buchi Atuonwu, widely known as Buchi, has disclosed plans to release a new album titled “One Big Family” on June 24.
Buchi announced this on his Instagram page, @buchiwai, on Sunday.
According to him, the album seeks to promote unity among Christians across denominational lines in the face of growing challenges confronting the Church and society.
“One Big Family is coming,” he wrote.
“The evil that we see in our society today can be overcome when the Church of Jesus Christ stands firm together, united and void of doctrinal and denominational high walls, against the enemies of the Church.” he said.
The gospel artiste said he was delighted to share his thoughts on the subject as preparations intensify for the album’s release.

“It is my utmost delight to share my honest thoughts in this regard as we gear up for the One Big Family album release on the 24th of June,” he said.
The author stressed that unity had become a necessity for the Church, noting that external threats did not discriminate among Christian denominations.
“When bullets start flying, they do not distinguish between Catholics and Anglicans.
“When machetes are raised and enemies of the Church come after us, they do not know our denominations,” he said.
