‘Deep Water’ and ‘Toy Story 5’ have recorded encouraging box office performances, attracting cinema audiences across West Africa.
FilmOne Entertainment announced that ‘Deep Water’, a suspense filled survival thriller, has grossed N29 million at the West African box office.
The distributor expressed appreciation to audiences for their support, noting that the film continues to screen in cinemas nationwide.
“The crash was only the beginning. Thank you, West Africa for N29, million at the box office,” the company said. Meanwhile, animated family adventure, ‘Toy Story 5’, opened with N10 million at the box office.

According to FilmOne Entertainment, the latest instalment of the popular franchise has drawn strong interest from moviegoers, particularly family audiences.
“Toys are back. The battle between toys and tech opens with N10 million at the box office. “Thank you, West Africa, for showing up,” the distributor said.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that both films are currently showing in cinemas nationwide and are expected to benefit from sustained audience interest in the coming weeks.
Industry observers say the performances reflect the continued appeal of international film releases in the West African cinema market, alongside growing patronage of theatrical entertainment.
