The Medserve-LUTH Cancer Centre, MLCC, has been named “Most Outstanding Oncology Centre in Nigeria” for the fourth consecutive year.
The award was presented at the 12th Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award held on 26 June 2026. The latest recognition further strengthens MLCC’s standing as a leading centre for advanced, compassionate and life-saving cancer care in Nigeria and the West African sub-region.
Located within the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Lagos, MLCC is regarded as the largest and best-equipped cancer treatment facility in West Africa. The centre combines cutting-edge technology with clinical expertise to deliver highly specialised, multidisciplinary outpatient care, helping to reduce the need for medical tourism abroad.
The four consecutive awards reflect the centre’s sustained commitment to expanding access to world-class cancer treatment, investing in modern infrastructure, and delivering international-standard care to patients in Nigeria.
Since its establishment, MLCC has continued to transform oncology care in West Africa through a holistic model that integrates radiotherapy, chemotherapy and supportive therapies. This consistent national recognition underscores the impact of its unified, multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment and survivorship.
