Brighton goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has finished the 2025/26 Barclays Women’s Super League season with the highest save percentage, ending her first campaign in England as the division’s top shot-stopper.
According to official league statistics published by the WSL on Monday, the Super Falcons goalkeeper recorded a save percentage of 74.7 per cent, the highest among all goalkeepers who made at least 10 league appearances during the season.
Nnadozie narrowly edged Chelsea’s Hannah Hampton, who finished second with 74.6 per cent, while Manchester United’s Phallon Tullis-Joyce placed third with 73.6 per cent.
During her debut WSL campaign, the 25-year-old faced 83 shots on target across 19 league matches. She saved 62 of those efforts, establishing herself as one of the league’s most reliable goalkeepers despite playing her first season in one of the world’s most competitive women’s leagues.

Her performances also helped Brighton remain competitive against the division’s strongest clubs, including reaching the Women’s FA Cup final, where they lost to Manchester City.
She kept six clean sheets, the joint fourth-highest tally in the WSL, and prevented an estimated 3.3 goals, underlining her ability to make difficult saves and keep her team in matches.
Earlier in the season, she won the WSL Save of the Month award after producing a brilliant fingertip stop against Liverpool. That stunning saves also earned her a place on the shortlist for the league’s Save of the Season award.
The three-time CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year is currently in the Super Falcons camp in Casablanca, Morocco, where the team is preparing to defend its Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title.
