Nigerian music star Davido has released his highly anticipated fifth studio album titled 5ive, featuring 17 tracks and top collaborations.

The 17-track project, which dropped today, marks a bold return to the music scene two years after his successful Timeless album, which topped Billboard’s World Albums Chart.

As part of the build-up to the new release, Davido had earlier teased fans with three singles—Be There Still, Funds featuring Odumodu blvck and Chike, and Awuke featuring YG Marley.

The 5ive album showcases a rich blend of Afrobeats, reggae fusion, and amapiano influences, with contributions from a wide range of local and international artists.

Collaborators on the album include Chris Brown, Omah Lay, Victony, Becky G, DJ Maphorisa, Adekunle Gold, Shensea, and Victoria Monét.

In Funds, Davido brings his signature energy while Odumodu blvck delivers gritty verses complemented by Chike’s smooth melodies.

The track Titanium, featuring Chris Brown, explores the emotional struggles of love, while Offa Me with Victoria Monét reflects sensual longing. Nuttin Dey presents a confident, boastful Davido who reflects on his resilience and staying power in the industry.

Production credits on 5ive include Mikababeatz, DJ Maphorisa, Marvey Muzique, and Ucee, with the album recorded across Lagos, London, and Los Angeles between 2023 and 2025.

The project spans 48 minutes and 32 seconds, offering a cohesive sonic journey that highlights Davido’s evolution both as a performer and storyteller.

The singer described 5ive as a deeply personal body of work that chronicles growth, self-awareness, and cultural pride. With each track, Davido continues to expand his sound while staying rooted in his Nigerian heritage.

5ive is now available for streaming and download on major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay, and Audiomack.

Fans and critics alike are already hailing the album as a solid follow-up to Timeless, cementing Davido’s influence on the global music stage.
