⁸Millions of worshippers from Nigeria and across the world are expected at the 2026 Global Easter Retreat of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, themed “The Glory of Christ’s Resurrection.”
The six-day retreat, scheduled to hold from Wednesday, April 2 to Monday, April 6, 2026, will take place at the Deeper Life International Conference Centre, Km 42, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, while running simultaneously in states across Nigeria and several international locations.
Organisers said the retreat is designed to offer participants an opportunity for spiritual renewal, healing, deliverance and restoration through the power of Christ’s resurrection.
Speaking on the forthcoming gathering, the Church Secretary, Pastor John Ntekim, described the event as more than a routine religious programme, saying it would provide believers with an opportunity to encounter the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

He said: “The Global Easter Retreat is not just an event; it is an opportunity for believers to experience the power of Jesus Christ. Millions of people will gather to experience Christ’s resurrection power, and we are committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of their circumstance, can participate fully.”
According to him, the simultaneous hosting of the retreat in various locations is intended to ensure that participants from different parts of the world can join physically or virtually and benefit from the same spiritual experience.
The ministry said attendees would be exposed to vibrant worship sessions, fervent prayers and biblical teachings centred on the significance of Christ’s resurrection and its relevance to contemporary Christian living.
As part of the programme, powerful messages are expected from the General Superintendent of the ministry, Pastor (Dr.) William F. Kumuyi, alongside other ministers, with emphasis on the glory, victory and transformative power of the resurrection.
Ntekim also stressed the ministry’s commitment to inclusiveness and welfare, noting that provision had been made for the feeding and accommodation of participants at designated centres.
He added that the arrangements were aimed at ensuring that worshippers were not distracted from receiving the full spiritual benefits of the retreat.
Participants, according to the organisers, are expected to experience spiritual revival, divine healing and practical guidance for victorious Christian living.
Describing the retreat as a beacon of hope and unity in a troubled world, Ntekim urged people from all walks of life to take part in the gathering.
“The Global Easter Retreat remains a beacon of hope, unity, and spiritual renewal. We warmly invite everyone to join us to witness the transforming glory of Christ’s resurrection, and experience His resurrection power firsthand,” he said.
